Beijing Kerry Centre Hotel | Image Composite Hotel Art

The Kerry Hotel is under Shagri-La Asia, Asia Pacific's leading luxury hotel group. The Kerry Beijing Hotel is located in the CBD of Beijing. When Alvin Mak is asked to create artwork for the business centre, he developed a study of rock compositions to convey the spirit of strength and resilience.

The work is a digital image composite, comprised of dozens of ink drawing, mark making and found texture. The drawings are digitally overlayed together. The visual interaction is balanced to achieve a rich aesthetics.
